The VELA pendant light is our most celebrated design—a hand-poured plaster conical lampshade whose asymmetrically fluted form twirls like a dancer's skirt caught mid-spin. Each flute flows into the next with organic grace, creating the illusion of fabric frozen in motion. Light and shadow play across its undulating surface, revealing new contours throughout the day.

Sculptural presence, refined simplicity
At 30×30cm, VELA commands attention without overwhelming. Its skirt-like silhouette brings softness to angular spaces, while the hand-formed plaster lends textural depth that shifts with every viewing angle. The asymmetrical fluting ensures no two perspectives are alike—a living sculpture that rewards closer inspection.

Handcrafted in England
Each VELA is individually cast in premium plaster at our UK workshop, paired with solid brass hardware and an E27 lampholder. The flowing flutes are shaped by hand, ensuring subtle variations that make every piece unique. Made to order with care.
